My Bianchi San Lorenzo

Bianchi San Lorenzo

I took a few parting photos of my 2004 Bianchi San Lorenzo right before I swapped the parts to a Double Cross, and I gotta admit it, I miss the bike already. Right now it sits as just a frame and fork and possibly a “for sale” sticker. Who knows. Anyway, I spent 4 years racing this bike and it was always kept at race weight: 15.8 lbs (not current setup). See a couple more photos of my old friend below-warning: mismatched tires and valves at 9:50.

Haha thanks Raymond! The more I’ve been thinking about it over the past couple weeks, the more I want to re-build it even better! We’ll see…

What was your 15.8 lb setup?

Same DA group. Ritchey 90mm 4-axis stem, Selle Italia SLR, Speedplays, Mavis Ksyrium SL’s, and some composite bottle cages. The scandium frame is the biggest factor though. where the tubing is butted is said to measure thinner than one’s thumbnail!

Do you still have it? My San Lorenzo was stolen a couple months ago and I’m looking to buy another – if you decide to sell it I’d definitely be interested.

Ahh I’m so sorry to hear that Mike…I do still have it – frame only though. I’ve got plans on rebuilding it sometime this year otherwise I’d consider, sorry!
