  • Push Media: In The Hai

Some buddies of mine back in Shanghai at Push Media just released their latest short, In The Hai, showcasing some of the city’s most prominent skate spots, day-to-day street life and Chinese culture.

The video was directed by Jonathan Lim, Kristian Kvam Hansen and Charles Lanceplaine, and features the skateboarding of Gustav Nyman, Jay Meadow, Johnny Tang, Dan Leung, Chris Bradley and Elliott Zelinskas.

    Enjoy

I’ve been staring at this bike right here for far too long; that tends to happen when I see new work from Chris Bishop. Like all of the builds you’ll see from Bishop Bikes, this road bike is elegantly finished and full of subtle details, making it easy to get “lost in fixation”.  Make sure to have a look at the details on this beauty below, and check out this bike’s story in pictures over at the Bishop Flickr.

  • Cadence Raw Cycling Denim Jeans

There’s nothing like a good pair of jeans, especially a pair that gets better and better with age; queue up the Raw Cycling Demin from Cadence. Now if you’re like me, you’re always on the hunt for some durable pants that can withstand the abuse from daily riding, yet also stylish enough to grab a drink with the lady. I think I’ve found just the pair…

Cadence is the originator of cycling denim before there was a trend in the urban market.  Dustin Klein, designer, artist and ex-messenger created Cadence in San Francisco in 2003 and has been deeply embedded in the cycling culture since the early days.  The brand has continued to attract a dedicated following due to the no nonsense, progressive approach to design and manufacturing product with purpose in the USA.

Cadence Raw Cycling Denim has been built from over five years of design and testing. Features include Kabiao stitch inseam for durability, double back pockets for riding with a lock, reinforced seat, reflective back label for visibility, 2% stretch for mobility, tapered cuff for riding to avoid rolling up pants, custom hardware and Raw Denim that is manufactured in LA, CA.
