Cadence Bamboo Henley

cadence bamboo henley

As a big fan of Cadence, I’m always excited to see some new threads available from them. They just released a Bamboo Henley Shirt in couple styles now available online – check it out! Looks to be a great base layer, plus it’s moisture wicking. Been wearing my Eleven hoody on the daily, maybe it’s time for a tee?

Queen City Dry Goods: Shop Apron

queen city dry goods

Matt Renna has been creating works of art with leather and textiles for some time now under the name Queen City Dry Goods. Based here in Burlington, Vermont, Matt’s made anything from a custom cork iPad case to waxed leather porteur bag, and everything in between. Recently, I visited my buddies at the Old Spokes Home and Harris had a custom-made shop apron from Matt. Check it out!

See more from Queen City Dry Goods here and some beautiful photos of Matt’s space from Jessica Anderson on her site.

A visual look at the winter 2012 collection from Cadence. Man I really dig their gear too, been wearing my Eleven Hoody on the daily for almost 6 months now (yeah, I wash it). Hopefully I’ll get to snag some new goods from Cadence soon!

Salsa Full-Suspention Fat Bike Prototype

Full suspension fat bike prototype

Fat bikes have been gaining a lot of popularity over the last year and are starting to be seen as more than just a snow or sand bike. These fat tire’d beasts can handle mostly anything you throw at them, and then some. Salsa just recently received a shipment of prototype full suspension fat bike frames that they’ll be testing out in the coming weeks.

No promises yet, but hopefully these go into production! Talk about a plush ride…

Crank Brothers M-17 Review

crank brothers m17

The Crank Brothers M-17 has been my trusty, do it all (cover-all) multi-tool for nearly a year now and I couldn’t be happier with it – no I didn’t get it for free (but I was a shop employee at the time), but it’s saved my ass once or twice over the past year and has the potential to perform most any trail/roadside operation your bike should need. After breaking my chain nearly 25 miles into a 50-mile midnight moonlight ride last summer, I knew I needed a compact chain tool to go along with the rest of the stuff I carry. The M17 was the answer.

This piece features all the convenient allen key’s you’d want (even a 8mm), a torx, phillips, flat head, spoke wrenches, and chain tool. I love the thing. Seriously, it flies everywhere with me. (Now you know where to put that Christmas money). Go pick one up at your local shop or hit up the CB website for some more info.

Outlier: Woolback OG

outlier woolback og pant

The Outlier Woolback OG pant is essentially a merino wool lined version of their already stellar Classic OG pant. If you’re searching for a sharp-looking pant that’ll keep those legs a little warmer through your winter commute, have a look at the Woolback OG’s. The price (as usual) is a bit steep, but before you balk make sure to read-up on story, fabric and details behind these pants. 100% made in NYC, these pants are equipped with Nanosphere tech – which helps as a self-cleaning fabric for when things get moist (rain, snow etc…) and have a ton of R/D behind them as all Outlier products do.

I’d love to put a pair up against a Vermont winter – but as mentioned earlier, they’re a little out of my price-range at the moment.

To purchase a pair, head over to the Outlier store and browse the rest of their collection.

While browsing my feeds earlier I came across these awesome coozies and such from Dank Bags of Seattle. I’ve seen a few attempts at 40 oz coozies and these have gotta be the best looking! Head over to the Dank site for more info on coozies, messenger bags and other made in the USA accessories.

Remember Cycling WMD’s WTF Townie sporting a 40 oz bottle cage? If you’re about your malt liquor then you need both of these!

Rick McCrank Eddy Merckx Girl Deck

Eddy Merckx Rick McCrank Skateboard

Rick McCrank’s new Girl skateboard featuring an Eddy Merckx inspired logo has to be one of my favorite skate graphics I’ve seen yet! If you know me personally, I’m a big fan of skateboarding and therefore have seen more than my fair share of skateboard art and graphics. As a lifelong skateboarder and cyclist, Rick’s new pro-model sporting a Merckx tribute logo really got me excited – not to mention the fact that it’s an 8.25! Adding this to the “buy once paid” list cause I have a feeling they won’t last too long – for the first time in my life, I might have to pick up a board and not skate it!
