Join us one for the 2nd annual Herringbone Tweed Ridehere in beautiful Burlington, Vermont – a leisurely, tweed-clad tour of the Queen City. For those unfamiliar, a tweed ride is a slow paced, socially focused ride where the participants don their most dapper tweed or wool attire for a relaxed ride with a focus on history and nostalgia. So grab that vintage 3-speed or coastie of yours; the older the bike, the better. No worries if you have more than three speeds, you’ll still have a blast. The ride begins at Maglianero for coffee and biscuits and will follow a route leading us through historic landmarks of Burlington with stops along the way for bicycle poetry, fun and games. The ride will end at the Intervale Barn for the Local Motion Annual party with beer from Zero Gravity and pizza from American Flatbread. You’ll also get the chance to sign up for a Local Motion membership for only $5!
Come out, wear some tweed and enjoy a brisk and beautiful day on the bike. RSVP here.
