It’s not everyday you’ll see such a pristine Bob Jackson as this one, but you can expect to see gorgeous bicycles daily at Cycle EXIF. See everything this Jackson has to offer by following me here.

Adam at Cycle EXIF always finds the most gorgeous bicycles and this Rene Herse Commuter is a perfect example. Have a look at the full set and read up on the history here; I’ve posted a few more shots below – check out that stem cap switch for the front light

Blotto‘s got another new bike and I was lucky enough to see it in the shop earlier today. *This isn’t it (or maybe it is, I don’t know where he acquired it ), but it’s the same frame, same stunning paint. The pictured Nagasawa belongs to Alan of Cycling WMD and I came across the photos at Prolly Is Not Probably and Cycle EXIF. Make sure to keep peekin’ below (peep that DA 10-pitch) and hopefully we’ll see some shots of Blotto’s build, right?

Ever since I first saw a stock Salsa Fargo in-person, I knew I’d eventually see some great custom builds online. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing, it’s also built for the long haul on any type of terrain you can throw at it. Plan a singletrack tour, grab some buddies and go play in the woods for a few days! Read more about Matthew’s Fargo at Cycle EXIF. See a few choice shots below.

Adam from Cycle EXIF offered up some great questions in his recent interview with Andy White, the man behind Fyxomatosis. He’s been known to build, restore, and photograph some of the most frimp-worthy bikes on the world wide web. See what he’s got to say over at Cycle EXIF.

I love fat mountain bikes. Endurance racing/touring is something I’ve never had the chance to experience yet, but definitely wouldn’t count myself out in terms of giving it a shot; the bikes are so rad!
Here’s a Salsa Mukluk that Adam at Cycle EXIF posted the other day-more on the bike below and at Cycle EXIF.

I can’t think of a more awesome name for a downhill ripper than Candyman.
Candyman, Candyman, Candyman….
This Bicycle Fabrications rig appeared at this years NAHBS and I’m sure it really stuck out among all the lugged steel; it being a ti and carbon downhill bike and all.
See some more photos at Cycle EXIF and the NAHBS site.

Cycle EXIF always features some of the cleanest and most drool-worthy bikes on the net. I know that sentence sort-of contradicted itself, but just take a look at this mint Hutch Trick Star: Profile 3-piece cranks, Hutch ladder bars, and NOS Comp ST Duro tires on some celeste (sorta) Tuffs. Be sure to check out the full post and detail shots HERE.

This Davidson Randonneur is absolutely gorgeous; the lugwork, paint, couplers, componentry and attention to detail all come together to make this masterpiece really shine. Read about Davidson Bicycles and more on this rando at Cycle EXIF. Check out a couple more photos I liked below.

Adam at Cycle Exif has a knack for finding some pretty outrageous bicycles, in my opinion this one takes the cake. The frame was built by Dario Pegoretti for Tiziano Zullo (what?!), as for those wheels, Campagnolo Vento rims laced with gold titanium nitrite bladed spokes to 1940’s Airlite hubs, filled and re-drilled to be 20 hole and 24 carrot gold plated spindels. Dumb. I won’t bother with any more details, but if that isn’t enough to make you check out this post, I don’t know what is.
I bet this photo has you drooling already. This Chiossi Cycles Maino frame was originally built in the 1940s and I’m sure it had lots of love throughout it’s life, but no love like Paolo Chiossi gave to it. He removed the cable and pump bosses, gave it this lovely eggplant paint job, and built up a nice pair of wooden Ghisallo rims. The bike features a dynamo front hub and a 3-speed coaster in the rear, both Sturmey-Archer of course. Check out a few of my favorite shots below and make sure to head over to Cycle EXIF for the full story. Continue reading “Beauties: Chiossi Cycles Maino 3-Speed” »

I have a soft spot for porteur bikes, something about the simplicity and functionality of them makes them hard to resist. Today’s Cycle Exif post features a real beauty, constructed from Reynolds 753 and painted in a way that Scrooge McDuck might appreciate, this lugged arrow frame is beautiful. Check out a few detail shots below, and head over to Cycle Exif for the rest of the set.

Cycle EXIF has been featuring beautiful photography of beautiful bicycles for sometime now, and just in time for the holidays you can now get a “best of the best” 2011 calendar of their most popular bicycles. Available here.

This thing is beefy to say the least. Read the story of Colossi Cycles, this cargo bike, and see more photos at Cycle EXIF
