Blotto: BMX Racing Photos

I’m a big fan of Blotto‘s photos and especially like his recent coverage of some BMX racing. For the past few summers, he’s been attending and documenting races with GT Bicycles, making for some mighty fine photos along the way. Have a look at the rest of his shots over at Blotto Photto, and if you haven’t already you should browse his Feature Bikes.

Blotto: Muir Woods

You may know our buddy Blotto as one of the legendary Burton Snowboards photographers, but what you may not know is his deep love for bicycles. He’s on the road 250 days a year, though when he’s in town he’s likely to be cruising around on one of his beautiful track bikes. The shot above comes from the Muir Woods out in the Bay Area. Make sure to check out his collection of bicycle photos too, and learn more about Blotto at Seven Days.

In anticipation of tomorrow night’s show at Maglianero, I figured I’d post a bike from Blotto’s Feature Bikes series. A while back, Blotto shot some great photos of Harris’s 1959 Pollard Track Bike. Unfortunately, Harris no longer has the Pollard but he does have 1966 Raphael Geminiani that’s he’s currently trying to sell .

This Pollard is pictured with original paint and in stunning condition. Read Blotto’s interview with Harris over at his site and have a look at some gorgeous details below.

Make sure to come out to Blotto’s show tomorrow night at Maglianero: Derailleur The Conventional. More on that here and the event page is here.
