SSR MAX independent fabrication

The folks at Independent Fabrication just posted up a couple gorgeous Columbus SSR Stainless Steel road bike frame, featuring bi-ovalized MAX tubing. I love logos being masked, leaving naked raw steel. Head over to Indy Fab to check out the other frame.

Independent Fabrication: SSR MAX Special Edition

Independent Fabrication SSR MAX Special Edition

As a long time fan of Indy Fab, it’s awesome to see the crew continue to produce such gorgeous bicycles in their new home-base of Newmarket, New Hampshire. Independent Fabrication‘s offerings at this year’s NAHBS really impressed me on many levels, but especially the attention to detail of the paint and the diversity of bicycles shown.

The porteur bike and mountain bike are both stunning, but the Fiat 500 inspired SSR Special Edition Road Bike really caught my eye. Built with a Columbus XCR tube set featuring bi-ovalized top and down tubes to up the stiffness, it’s just begging to race – especially with that paint scheme.
