  • Outlier Submarine Bedford

Outlier and Vans: The Supermarine Bedford from Outlier on Vimeo.

Just like us, the folks at Outlier are big fans of Vans. So it’s no surprise to see their latest offering: a collaboration with Vans dubbed the Submarine Bedford. It’s essentially a slimmed-down Half Cab with a wider toe box and a little less padding. Get all the specs over at Outlier.

  • Outlier: Woolback OG

    outlier woolback og pant

The Outlier Woolback OG pant is essentially a merino wool lined version of their already stellar Classic OG pant. If you’re searching for a sharp-looking pant that’ll keep those legs a little warmer through your winter commute, have a look at the Woolback OG’s. The price (as usual) is a bit steep, but before you balk make sure to read-up on story, fabric and details behind these pants. 100% made in NYC, these pants are equipped with Nanosphere tech – which helps as a self-cleaning fabric for when things get moist (rain, snow etc…) and have a ton of R/D behind them as all Outlier products do.

I’d love to put a pair up against a Vermont winter – but as mentioned earlier, they’re a little out of my price-range at the moment.

To purchase a pair, head over to the Outlier store and browse the rest of their collection.

  • Outlier: Storm King Parka

Rule the storm with the new Outlier Storm King Parka:

The Storm King Parka is built around our Supermarine® Cotton, a 21st century edit to a nearly forgotten World War II fabric. You can think of it as the pinnacle of cotton technology, highly breathable, extremely water resistant and completely windproof. It can only be made using the longest staple Egyptian cotton fiber, woven together in a dense weave that swells up and seals when exposed to water.

  • Outlier | MИШKA Shirt

    Outlier Mishka

It’s nice to see two NYC clothing companies like Outlier and Mishka coming together on a simple and sharp looking shirt:

Detailed with MИШKA branded 20 ligne buttons, 1/4″ top-stitching, our classic “storm flap” chest pocket and double button adjustable cuffs. The fabric is perfectly pattern matched and the Pivot Sleeve gives you a tailored fit with a full range of movement. Let’s just say that more than a couple of us are sporting them here at the office. Available in Gray Plaid, Purple Plaid, and Red/Blue Plaid.

Snatch yours for the fall here.

  • Outlier: The Anorak

    Outlier Anorak

The Anorak – A new offering from Outlier that keeps you dry from moisture inside and out. This is what you need on those rainy summer/early fall nights!  Hopefully they’ll produce  higher numbers of these soon.

“We never rush development at Outlier, some garments fall together quickly while others take forever. This garment has been in the making for nearly as long as we’ve been around so we’re pretty excited to finally have it in our hands. The Anorak started as a simple pullover windbreaker, and took an evolutionary leap when we started experimenting with a magnetic adjustable front piece.

The Anorak uses a pullover construction with two way zippered side vents for superior ventilation. The adjustable magnetic front piece lets you protect your neck in style. An articulated sleeve construction (a modified version of our pivot sleeve) allows for a full range of movement. A double sided kangaroo front pocket, rear zippered carry pocket and Lampo partial-front zip complete the picture.

The 3XDry Cotton Linen fabric has a sturdy hand feel that combines the soft touch of cotton with the crisp handle of linen. The 3XDry treatment moves moisture away from the body on the inside and repels water on the outside while always drying swiftly for optimal comfort.

This is an Outlier Experimental Edition. A limited edition release of a product we hope to produce in full in the future.”

  • Outlier 3-Way Shorts

    Outlier 3 Way Shorts

With the exception of this weekend, it’s been scorching here in Burlington…and by scorching, I don’t mean the fun type. It’s been hot in streets and nothing helps make days commuting and cruising ’round town on the bike better than a nice  pair of shorts. I recently picked up some nice golf shorts that breathe and dry quickly, but if I had the skrill I’d spring for a pair of these Outlier 3-ways: US made and damn good looking. Click to see more and if you’re in NYC, snag a pair at Chari & Co.
